Every day in New Eden, countless drones are left abandoned in the vast abyss of space, without proper housing, preventative maintenance, and direction. These drones
are at risk. But at risk for what, you may ask?
Statistics compiled by my professional research team shows that without the stolid and nurturing guidance of their capsuleer masters, these drones are more likely to venture down very dark paths indeed.
Over 70% of Abandoned drones end up hording together in what we commonly refer to as 'infestations'. Think of it as that dark, dirty place under a busy city bridge where hordes of homeless gather to gamble, drink, and smoke crack rocks.
Now imagine the remaining 30%, being scooped up by random space travlers and pirates, being force to do terrible, terrible things.
These paths encompass a multitude of terrible fates, inlcuding those already mentioned but not limited to the following as well:
- Disrupting Trade Caravans
- Wantonly Slaughtering Newbies and Bads
So ask yourself:
How many times has a drone saved your clone with ECM, allowing you to warp away? How many times has a drone provided the necessary damage application to kill those pesky frigates your big guns can't track?
Help us by doing your part to provide proper Drone Bays, maintenance, and companionship. For only 100,000 ISK per week,
YOU can help save one of these at risk drones. As the Inherents of New Eden, we owe it to our servants to take care of them.
What your donation will do:-Provide adequate space in drone bays and hangars for abandoned drones
-Help pay repair and maintenance fees
-Help train and provide opportunities for drones to "get back on their feet"
-Help foster a sense of well-being and 'humanity' in
those who serve usEventually, we hope to attain refrigerator magnets and picture frames depicting a drone you have sponsored and saved.
What your donation won't do:-Support hyrdraulic fluid binging (a common practice seen in most 'infestations')
-Support illegal drone part trafficking
-Support illegal drone fight clubs
-Support illicit habits and behaviors
This foundation runs entirely off of donations, and needs your support to thrive and provide this much needed assistance. When making a donation, please add the note "FoNE" in the applicable field as a designation of your pledge.
Thank you for your consideration and support!
